Please peruse the general information offered in our website/home page. If you do not exactly find information on what you are looking for, please do not hesitate to contact us, preferably by email. Note that Palm Beach Table Tennis actually is a virtual club with the goal to promote table tennis in South Florida. By means of this page we mainly offer information on Table Tennis Programs offered by the Adult & Community Education of the School District of Palm Beach County (www.PBEducator.org). Although our "club" is affiliated to the USATT, it does not have its own venue. Throughout the years players have helped with donations that allow us to repair, haul, and purchase our table tennis equipment. Table tennis products manufacturers Butterfly, Cornilleau, Newgy Robo-Pong, and STIGA, have donated equipment. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that the "PBTT Schedule" and “Forms” tabs might have not yet been updated.

Total Fee for 19 sessions: $90.00. Half Term Fee: $50.00 (for up to 10 sessions). You can register with Jose before the class. Please do not hit prior to registering. Main reason: You must sign a release of liability that is mandatory! Please pay preferably by check. If by cash, please pay the exact amount in cash.
Currently 2 tables tennis programs are offered at OHCHS: MONDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS: ALL LEVELS WITH COACHING HINTS: 6:00 - 7:30 PM. ADVANCED PLAYERS: 7:30 - 9:45 PM. Log to "About PBTT" for Directions to PBTT (OHCHS). When you walk in through the main entrance and see the large schoolyard in the middle of campus, look ahead for the one-story building that has a pyramidal structure on top of the facade (this is the café building, our "pingpongtorium"). You will also see a tall telecommunications antenna mast in the background.
For general information log to the "Forums" tab and then "Announcements" (you must log-in or register). It includes information of interest like: Definition of ALL LEVELS and ADVANCED PLAYERS; BUY/SELL USED TABLE TENNIS ITEMS (avoid playing with subpar quality equipment that will prevent you from making progress), etc. We recommend players to buy their table tennis equipment from a store specializing in table tennis products. For information on further table tennis venues in the Palm Beach County and nearby log to the tab “Our Goals".
Please familiarize yourself with our set of rules (Main Menu item "PBTT Club Rules", on the left-hand side of the Home page) and especially with what is prescribed on the order of play. Our rules must be observed both in the ALL LEVELS and ADVANCED PLAYERS programs. Please note that you will be playing at a community high school and that you first have to complete a registration form and pay the applicable tuition to enroll in an Adult & Community Education program.
Good news: Thanks to a donation by STIGA through the Steinberg family we now have a new STIGA STS 410 Q table, an almost $800 value! We again can use a total of 8 fully operational STIGA tables. A severely damaged table was disposed of and went to a good home of a handyman and welder who recently started practicing our sport at OHCHS. Some of our tables were assembled more than 20 years ago, and of course need TLC! We highly appreciate such generous contribution to our sport.
We had a very happy celebration of our 10th anniversary on April 13, at Olympic Heights:
The turnout was beyond our expectation, and also the spouses and children of many of our players shared the rejoicing. Food was excellent, and a thank-you goes to all those who contributed with delicious ethnic dishes. Mrs. Susie Stanley, the Community School Director was awarded a plaque for her 10 years of reaching for excellence in table tennis programs. We were honored with the presence of other TT enthusiasts like Carlos Zeller, director of the BTTC, and Gerald Mangold, the OTT leader, who put together the nice ping pong game around the table that moved many players and family members to hit and have fun. I appreciate the nice hand-made card presented to me and the numerous contributions to our celebrations. Our special gratitude goes also to Jean, Colin’s wife, who so kindly has uploaded 16 pictures taken by her, which is a nice coverage of our celebration. Some of the pictures show our players’ youngest kids hitting their first ping pong balls, and the remarkable performance by Leon Weinberg, a legendary player that stood up to the occasion and impressed everybody hitting excellent shots!
For more on the celebration and other previous events enjoy our presence in Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Palm-Beach-Table-Tennis/141479035954932). Our Vadim Mordkovich is the enthusiast in charge. Thanks to him we can watch quality video clips of our activities. The page also includes pictures, comments, and news. You will love its dynamics. It helps us to keep everybody posted on all the activities our players take part in. If you so wish, you do not need to interact. Just enjoy the page as a simple visitor. We are looking for feedback and hope that further brainstorming will help us to keep improving the PBTT.
